Eshoka is a Ko-Matoran from Nuiamort.
History[]
Eshoka was created to inhabit the island of Nuiamort. It is unknown what function the island served in the running of the Mata Nui robot. All the Matoran on the island lived in one village, despite being of different elements.
At some point, Nuiamort was hit by a tsunami, and Eshoka and his fellow Matoran survivors were left to rebuild their homes from the wreckage.
Eshoka once predicted that 'the waters of Lake Mata would be fouled', but the prophecy was too vague and the other Matoran believed it to refer to a natural disaster.
Makuta invasion[]
The island of Nuiamort caught the eye of Makuta Terrademus, who had come to the island in search of the Creator's Heart. Some of the Matoran were killed in the first battle against Terrademus' evolved Rahi, while Eshoka and the rest of the survivors were left to hold off the Makuta from their fortress village. Eshoka's prophecy was realised when a Lerahk poisoned Lake Mata. They had no hope of repelling Terrademus until Toa Arbern arrived.

Like most Ko-Matoran, Eshoka is fascinated by the patterns of the stars, and interpreting meaning from their movements. This is why he carries a telescope with him everywhere. He is calm quiet, and will only take sides in an argument if absolutely necessary.
As a Matoran, Eshoka possesses trace amounts of elemental Ice that he cannot access.
Mask and Tools[]
Eshoka wears a powerless Kanohi Hau, the Mask of Shielding, and carries a telescope made for him many years ago by a long-deceased Matoran friend.
