Makuta Khraan, sometimes referred to as "The Combat Master," was a recruiter and trainer for the Order of Kentis Nui.

Biography

Like all makuta on Primordius Magna, Khraan was created out of a mixture of antidermis and pure shadow. After the Titan War, Khraan was responsible for recruiting and training new warriors for the Order of Kentis Nui. Although his methods of teaching were considered harsh, they were extremely effective. When the war ended and Khraan joined the Order of Kentis Nui, his occupation did not change. He continued to recruit and train new warriors. Optimidus considered Khraan his second best warrior, after Malleus. When Kronaxx took over Primordius Magna, Khraan was one of the few makutas who didn't join the Confederate Empire of Shadows. For this reason, Kronaxx has issued a reward for the capture or murder of Khraan.

Primordius Magna Civil War

Khraan later became a key figure in the Primordius Magna Civil War. Working tirelessly to train hundreds of soldiers, Khraan prepared the matoran, toa, and Order of Kentis Nui alike, for the upcoming war, Khraan, himself, fough in the Battle of Odinax.

Abilities and Traits

Being a makuta, Khraan had access to most of the 42 Rahkshi powers. He could create a shadow hand to absorb victims but like most, could not control it. Unlike most other makuta, Khraan has not evolved into a pure antidermis state so if his armor is destroyed, he will die. To make up for this, he has been slowly storing small amounts of his life force into his shell, to make it thicker over time. No one is quite sure how he manages to do it In addition to reenforced armor, Khraan carries a barbed shadow blade that he uses as a melee weapon. In his right hand, he holds a plasma canon which can fire spheres of pure plasma that disintegrate upon contact with a target.

Khraan always believed that it did not matter what weapon you used as long as you had enough skill to use it. He also believed constant, non-stop training was the only way to become a good warrior. Khraan was known to whip or punish trainees whom complained or did not work hard enough.

Trivia

• Khraan was one of only five makuta who did not join the Confederate Empire of Shadows when Kronaxx took over.
• Khraan is currently one of three makuta left in existance in Primordius Magna; he is the only "free" one, as Kronaxx has no body and Silmaru is imprisoned on Lunas Magna.
