The Kanohi Gorgoh was the Mask of Petrification. It allowed its user to paralyze any living being by making eye contact. Once the target was paralyzed, the user could break eye contact but would need to focus in order to keep their target paralyzed. As soon as the user lost focus, lost their mask, or exceeded a time limit of five minutes of paralysis, the target would be freed. Multiple targets could be paralyzed at a time, as long as the user could delegate enough focus to each of them.

Example Usage

In Renascence, Makuta Drakah used her Great Gorgoh to freeze Dehka in place, keeping him in his containment cell while she left momentarily.

• The Gorgoh's name and abilities were inspired by the Gorgons of Greek mythology, half-snake, half-woman creatures who had the ability to turn anyone who looked at them into stone. This is an extension of Drakah's own inspiration from mythological reptilians such as dragons.
