The Mask of No Powers is the mask forged for Emperor Kragator by Artakha and Karzahni in the Broken Order Universe. Ownership of this as well as Kragator's Sword represents inheritance of the Kritor Empire.

Description[]

This mask is capable of giving any user with no powers of his own the ability to shut off the powers of everyone within a 10 kio radius. This includes Kanohi powers, elemental powers, powers discharged through weapons, and other non-physical powers. It will not, however, shut off powers relating to the physical build of a being, such as the ability of a being of antidermis from moving to another body. It also cannot remove the powers of weapons.

History[]

Early in the Makuta/Kritor War, Emporer Kragator conquered Karzahni and Artakha, forcing them through deals and some manipulation to submit to the Kritor Empire. Wishing to capitalize on this new alliance, Kragator forced Artakha and Karzahni to work together, creating a weapon or a tool that would give him an edge over the Makuta. The result was the Mask of No Powers. Kragator donned it and used it in the battles he participated in.

When Emperor Kragator used the mask, although he held no power of his own (aside from the ability to use Kanohi), this was coupled with his cunning and gave him even more of an edge. He also frequently removed the mask so as to avoid becoming reliant on it. While he was confident he could challenge a creature with numerous powers, such as a Makuta, without the Mask (he’d done so quite frequently before the mask) using it not only tripled his already likely chances of success, but its use on a battlefield ensured his troops could use their war machines without sustaining heavy losses from the Makuta powers and troops.

Example Usage[]

Emperor Kragator used the mask in the Battle of Nynrah. While it did prevent his own soldiers from using their powers, it took away the usefulness of the Rahkshi, Visorak, and Fohrok the Makuta employed.
