The Brutaka Update was an update series that consisted of Brutaka delivering news about Custom BIONICLE, including contests, shows, announcements, and miscellaneous news. Axonn made occasional appearances in the videos, usually being heard in the background criticizing Brutaka.
Format[]
The videos usually were just updates on the Custom BIONICLE Wiki, primarily the YouTube channel, however videos have been made surrounding the wiki as well, such as the announcement of the Brutaka Contest.
They were voiced and edited by Jman98, and were usually improvised (with a few exceptions).
For the Rahi Building Contest video, CallanLoF filled in for Jman98, appearing as Pohatu from MATA, making it the first and only Brutaka video to not feature Brutaka in any way, shape, or form, though he was mentioned.
They were used to accommodate the amount of subscribers Custom BIONICLE would gain on their YouTube channel, however these updates ceased to exist after the channel grew past 700 subscribers due to restructuring of the channel.
After Growing Pains was posted, The Brutaka Update was effectively cancelled due to restructuring of the channel.
