Vilrohk is a mutant and a member of the Order of Mata Nui.

History[]

The origins of Vilrohk remain shrouded in mystery. Discovered in an abandoned Ga-Metru lab in Metru Nui, Vilrohk was surrounded by lifeless Kraata and shattered vials containing an unidentified virus. Adhering to their established protocols, a Vahki squad apprehended Vilrohk and confined him within a stasis tube, storing him in the Archives' lower levels.

Unbeknownst to the city's authorities, the Order of Mata Nui had secretly observed the laboratory's activities, developing an interest in Vilrohk. Operating under cover, agents of the Order stole Vilrohk's container and took him to Daxia. It was there that Vilrohk met Helryx, who recognized his potential and offered him a fresh purpose as a servant of the Order. Vilrohk accepted the offer and joined the ranks of the Order of Mata Nui.

After completing his training, Vilrohk received a specially crafted suit of armor, tailored to his unique needs. Equipped with this new gear, Vilrohk started his involvement in various missions, his remarkable aptitude for detecting Antidermis making him a valuable asset for assignments relating to the Brotherhood of Makuta.

Destiny War[]

In anticipation of the impending war between the Brotherhood of Makuta and the Order of Mata Nui, Vilrohk received orders to venture into the depths of the Pit. His objective was to extract the renegade agent Brutaka while gathering intelligence on recent events surrounding Mahri Nui. During this mission, Vilrohk successfully apprehended two Barraki, Takadox and Carapar.

Upon locating Brutaka, Vilrohk delivered the news of an opportunity for the agent to redeem himself by returning to the Order. However, this chance came with a price — Brutaka would have to lead a suicide mission to prove his commitment. Willing to make amends, Brutaka accepted the offer, and together with Vilrohk, they journeyed back to Daxia, taking Takadox and Carapar captive. Subsequently, Vilrohk played a role in capturing Makuta Spiriah, coercing his involvement in Brutaka's mission. Vilrohk then traveled to Metru Nui to provide assistance to the newly stationed agents there.

As Makuta Teridax seized control of the Matoran Universe, Vilrohk cast aside his armor and sought refuge within the Onu-Metru Archives. Operating as a messenger for the rebel factions combating the Reign of Shadows, Vilrohk played a critical role in coordinating resistance efforts.

Following Teridax's demise, Vilrohk was rescued from the Archives and relocated to Spherus Magna, where he was presented with a new suit of armor.

The Invasion[]

When the Chorak launched their invasion upon the planet, Vilrohk found himself partnered with Deriahk and the Dark Hunter known as Frustrator on a mission to secure the legendary Kanohi Gebuk, Mask of Wishes.

Throughout their quest to locate the mask's previous owner, Glatorian Ganiaz, the team managed to rescue a imperiled Matoran. This grateful Matoran guided them to Ganiaz, who promptly challenged Vilrohk to a duel for possession of the mask. Emerging victorious, Vilrohk claimed the Kanohi Gebuk, only to discover the Matoran's true identity as Makuta Nutrex. With swift brutality, Nutrex dispatched Ganiaz, overpowered the remaining team members, and fled with the mask.

Shortly thereafter, Frustrator revealed himself as another Makuta, Makuta Pakark, and utilized his teleportation abilities to return Vilrohk and Deriahk to safety. Vilrohk and Deriahk initially perceived Pakark as an ally of Nutrex but were soon enlightened by Pakark's proclamation of loyalty to their cause. Accepting Pakark's assertions, the trio embarked on a mission to halt Nutrex's plans. However, Nutrex employed the Mask of Wishes to unleash a malevolent entity named Hantrek.

In response, Vavakx assigned him and Deriahk a new mission: locating the destined user of the Mask of Wishes, the Dark Hunter Kapokhed. To achieve this, Vilrohk and Deriahk engaged in negotiations with The Shadowed One, reaching an agreement. Kapokhed was subsequently dispatched to the shelter, where Vilrohk and Deriahk rendezvoused with him. Despite an initial misunderstanding, the Kanohi Gebuk appeared and bonded itself to the Dark Hunter's face. The mask conveyed a vision: Vavakx imprisoned within Metru Magna by the Chorak, now aligned with Hantrek.

Vilrohk played an instrumental role in the Spherus Magna Council Headquarters mission to liberate Vavakx. Engaging in a fierce battle against a formidable array of Chorak soldiers, the team confronted the imminent threat of an explosive security system, masterminded by Hantrek. Realizing Hantrek's treachery, Chorak King Cerverus brokered a truce with the rebels, facilitating their escape.

Regrouping outside the headquarters, Vilrohk and the others were reunited with Deriahk and Vavakx, who confirmed Hantrek's demise. Following this revelation, Kapokhed harnessed the power of the Kanohi Gebuk, ensuring an era of peace for the survivors.

In the aftermath of the conflict, Vilrohk actively participated in the reconstruction efforts in Metru Magna, contributing to the restoration of the war-ravaged city.

Old Grievances[]

In a subsequent time period, Metru Magna fell victim to a devastating assault led by the Alpha Being known as Mersny. Commanding a legion of monstrous creatures, Mersny embarked on a journey with the sole objective of eliminating Vavakx, who sought refuge within an underground bunker. Vilrohk engaged in combat, striving to repel the relentless horde. However, Mersny seized the element of surprise, utilizing his magnetic powers to dismantle Vilrohk's protective armor, leaving him vulnerable.

Without the safeguard of his armor, Vilrohk stealthily made his way into Vavakx's subterranean bunker, urgently conveying the imminent peril. Subsequently, they were teleported to a secure camp, distanced from the city. Driven by an unwavering determination to confront Mersny head-on, Vavakx departed from the camp, while Vilrohk and his friends valiantly confronted the approaching army under Mersny's command. The ensuing battle was intense and hard-fought, culminating in Vilrohk and his fellow warriors emerging triumphantly from the fray.

Regrettably, in the aftermath of the conflict, Vilrohk received news of Vavakx's death during his final encounter with Mersny. Vilrohk participated in the commemorative event held in Vavakx's honor.
